Lucknow: The state level women’s athletics competition will be held on 21 and 22 November at the regional sports stadium in Gorakhpur. The Lucknow division team will participate in it. Selection trials for the formation of the Lucknow team will be held on 14 and 16 November at the KD Singh Babu Stadium under the supervision of the regional sports office. After the district level trials on 14 November, the selected players will participate in the divisional level trials on 16 November. The players selected after the divisional level trials will be given a place in the Lucknow team. This information was given by regional sports officer Ajay Sethi. He said that the age of the players participating in the selection trials should not be more than 25 years. Interested women players will be able to give trials in 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 1500 meters, 3000 meters, 100 meters hurdles, 400 meters hurdles, 4 times 100 meters relay, 4 times 400 meters relay, long jump, high jump, shotput, discus throw and javelin throw events.
